Product description

The Alato AR5 acoustic recorder is the successor to DOC’s AR4 acoustic recorder. The AR5 is the first acoustic recording device built by Alato, specially engineered to deliver high quality audio recordings and spectrograms of bat and bird calls for research and monitoring wildlife.

Designed as a light weight and versatile unit, the AR5 is weatherproof, small and easy to use. The AR5 has three standard recording protocols for monitoring different species. Acoustic high and low modes and Bat mode for producing compressed bitmap spectrogram records of bat calls.
