Alato exists to make wildlife monitoring simple, accessible and impactful so anyone can collect better data with less effort. Our goal is to build easy-to-use affordable hardware and software for conservationists, ecologists, and community groups so they can better understand the biodiversity in their environment and make the best decisions for our native fauna.
We are on the path with the development of our new full spectrum acoustic monitor the SoundScout due for launch in 2026 and the launch of Alato Labs, our analysis software that automatically detects NZ bat species from data.
Partnering with DOC, Councils and large community groups we aim to build products that not only serve a purpose but that make an impact.
We proudly support NZ conservation groups with discounted pricing and project support to ensure our precious native species not only survive but thrive.
